Process & Timeline
Step 1
Initial consultation and advice Free on-site or video consultation to understand the client’s goals, budget, and timescale. Honest advice on feasibility, planning needs, and where money is best spent to add value.
Step 2
Design, planning and permissions Help with drawings, structural engineer input, and building control requirements. Support with planning applications, party wall matters, and any required approvals before work starts.
Step 3
Transparent quotation and scope Detailed written quote showing labour, materials, timings, and what is / isn’t included. Fixed-price or clearly staged payments so customers can plan their cashflow confidently.
Step 4
Project management from start to finish One main point of contact to coordinate trades, deliveries, health & safety, and inspections. Regular progress updates (weekly calls/emails) so clients always know what is happening on site.
Step 5
Quality workmanship and compliance Experienced, qualified trades following UK building regulations and industry best practice. Structured order of works: demolition, structural work, first fix, plastering, second fix, then finishes, to keep projects efficient and tidy.
Step 6
Respect for the client’s home Clean and safe site: protection to floors, daily tidy‑ups, secure storage of tools and materials. Clear rules on working hours, noise, and access so disruption is minimised.
Step 7
Handover, snagging and aftercare Full snagging process at the end of the job, fixing any minor issues before final sign‑off. Handover pack with certificates, warranties, and contact details for future maintenance or new projects.
